Filing type changes from FERC
FERC issued a notice of changes to eTariff Refund Report filing types to become effective November 27, 2011. FERC has added three new filing codes to their list of available filing types. These are:
♦ filing code 1190 “Refund Report” for Market Based Rate companies
♦ filing code 1200 “Refund Report” for NGA 311 Gas companies
♦ filing code 1210 “Refund Report” for Oil companies
Interstate gas pipeline companies and Traditional Cost of Service Electric companies are not affected by this change. Refund Reports have been part of these program types since the beginning and are available in eTariffManager.
All the Refund Report filing types will use the Report category business process. They will not receive a separate sub docket. The Commission may not issue an order on reports. This category of Type of filing contains no tariff record information. It can only be used to supplement the record of the proceeding.
The Report type of filing is meant to provide tariff submitters a means to make complex filings with FERC in an established proceeding as an alternative to FERC’s eFiling website portal for non-tariff filings. Systrends is currently updating eTariffManager to add the new filing codes which should be available by end of December.
