How to set up a cancellation filing

To cancel a tariff section from a Master Tariff, there are a few things to keep in mind:
1.  You do not need to associate it to a filing.  Only the Master Tariff the section is located in.
2. You do not need to up the versioning of the section
3. You do not need to include any document/redline.
4. Only change the priority order if the effective date is changing.
 
Steps to create a cancelation filing:
 
1.   Create new filing (enter title and date)
2.   Use filing type 260
3.   Select the related Master Tariff (do not select an associated filing)
4.   Click the import tariff records button
5.   Select the tariff section from the master tariff that is being canceled
6.   Edit the section by changing the change type to "Cancel"
7.   Version does not change
8.   Priority order does not change if the effective date is changing to date of the section is being canceled.  If the effective date is not changing than priority order will need to change.
9.   Upload a blank page (word doc)
10. Add attachments
11. Generate XML
