The new FERC Validation states:

  • Rate Units must be equal to the Standardized Units (i.e. $/MWh or $/MW‐Month) if Transaction Quantity equals Standardized Quantity.
  • Rate Units must be equal to the Standardized Units (i.e. $/MWh or $/MW‐Month) if Transaction Price equals Standardized Price.

What this means is when you have MWh for Energy and MW-Mo for Capacity then you use the Standardized Quantity and Standardized Price columns and they should match the Transaction Quantity and Transaction Price columns.

For Product name ENERGY (if Transaction Quantity (Field 64) is equal to Standardized Quantity (Field 67), then Rate Units (Field 66) must be $/MWh.

For Product name CAPACITY, (if Transaction Quantity (Field 64) is equal to Standardized Quantity (Field 67), then Rate Units (Field 66) must be $/MW-Month.

For Product name Booked Out Power, if Transaction Quantity (Field 64) is equal to Standardized Quantity (Field 67), then Rate Units (Field 66) must be $/MWh or $/MW-month.

Is you have KWH Or KW-Mo then the Transaction Price and Transaction Quantity will not be the same as you have to do the conversion in the standardized columns.
